United Nations – The World Health Organization (WHO) warned of a growing risk of measles, pertussis, and other vaccine-preventable diseases in countries affected by Ebola. As health officials focused on containing the Virus, these diseases resurfaced due to cut backs in regular immunization. Now health care facilities are being strengthened to provide routine vaccinations to save the most vulnerable – children.
