170 Kenyan health workers were this morning flagged off by President Kenyatta as they began their journey to West African countries hard hit by the Ebola virus, that is Sierra Leone and Liberia, to bolster efforts to fight the virus that has ravaged the countries and brought human suffering and mass deaths in a little over a year. The team of the health workers first paid President a courtesy call to President Uhuru Kenyatta at State house where a memorandum of understanding was to be signed between Kenya and the African Union. The health workers are expected to serve in West Africa for the next 18 weeks.
