The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned it may not be possible to contain the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s (DRC) latest Ebola outbreak to two affected provinces in the country’s east if violent attacks on health workers and treatment centres continue.

The Organisation in a statement said, unless the targeting of response activities was ended it was “unlikely” the virus would “remain successfully contained” in North Kivu and Ituri, which combined, border Rwanda, Uganda and South Sudan.

michael miller says:

It would cost nothing for American and other forces to unite against these rebel armies. Unfortunately the virus is allowed to consume these people. If it spread to the USA, it would be stopped immediately.I do believe these episodes are well planned to cull the populace.

Tim Temple says:

If the Communist Congo was quarantined, it would NOT spread. This ebola is spread by contact with bodily fluids or Communist vaccination needles.
