WHO declares Liberia free of Ebola – europe weekly

The World Health Organisation has declared that Liberia is free of Ebola.

It means the latest outbreak of the deadly disease is effectively over.

The WHO said there have been forty two days without a new case being reported in the West African country.

Guinea and Sierra Lone were declared free of Ebola last year.
