UNDP’s support during the Ebola crisis in West Africa in 2014-15 ensured the timely payment of nearly 50,000 Ebola response workers, or around 70 percent of the estimated total Ebola response workforce across Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. In this video, Fatmata Sesay, a brave outreach worker, recounts her experience during the worst Ebola outbreak in history and how UNDP’s support helped stem the spread of the disease by ensuring the continuity of essential health and community services.
