Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, hosted some Ebola survivors at his office in Alausa, Ikeja.
Fashola commended the survivors for coming forward to share their experiences, adding that they are proof that the disease is not a death sentence.

Kiwi Liz says:

doubly terrifying for doctors; if you know exactly what is likely to happen to you!  Brave people!

Tony Harris says:

Fashola is an excellent leader and an inspiration in many ways – a Governor that takes personal interest in the people he governs and their well-being.  He has changed the landscape of his community and this is palpable when you visit Lagos.
His greatest achievement is the keeping the faith with the community that elected him and delivering whatever the challenge.  He is a far cry from many in government who have no-clue about leadership but rather are well-versed in looting-the-treasury and other forms of corruption.   Fashola, you are certainly a world-class hero.  My God bless and increase your wisdom.
