with no vaccine and no cure, you can only quarantine the people that can infect other people, these are the symptomatic patients, and the first symptom is a fever. this is a difficult taks when people are being stupid about it.

your rate of survival is increased if you go into quarantine, because they can fight the fever, they can keep you hydrated and fight the vomiting and diarrhoe, they keep your electrolytes up and give you vitamins, and all that increases the chances of your immune system beating the disease. so even if you are totally egoistic and dont care about the risk of infecting your friends and family, you should get hospitalized just to increase your own chances of survival.
