It is unfathomable that this nurse would be so blatantly flippant as to
risk other peoples lives. Certainly she has seen the horrors of this
disease and should know that there is a 21 to 42 day incubation period and
that initial testing is not fool-proof. For her to be completely brazen
and obnoxious, is disgusting. She goes for a bike ride? Dr. Spencer went
for a 3 mile run – ONE DAY before he was hospitalized with Ebola, and
running is a hell of a lot more taxing than a bike ride. It appears she is
only concerned with the health and welfare of those in Africa, and not with
those in her own Country. How can anyone believe she cares for others
when she refuses to quarantine herself? Most people would never risk
infecting others. She’s a health professional, yet sees herself above
being put in isolation. Either doesn’t give a shit – or she’s ignorant of
the complexities of this disease. One can treat diseased patients without
being totally informed, so it may be she’s truly ignorant. Either way, the
fact that she is willing to risk the lives of others is incomprehensible.
A truly self-centered, vile act. She probably does not have the disease,
but one would think, as a ‘caring’ health professional, she would take all
precautions before she ventured out of her home. You don’t have to be
symptomatic to have Ebola. It’s a virus. It takes time to replicate
itself. I loath this POS for risking the lives of others. As a health
care worker, I would never risk the lives of other people. You just don’t
do that. She’s acting like a spoiled, rotten snob and should be banned
from practicing. Our children certainly do not need someone like this POS
anywhere near them. Her actions are mind-boggling to the extreme.
