NBC’s Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, violated her voluntary quarantine when she left her home to go get a sandwich at the Pleasant Grill in Hopewell, New Jersey.

Dr. Snyderman was in Liberia when her cameraman contracted Ebola, which is why her and her team are under quarantine.

Dr. Snyderman issued an apology, but some people are saying she dodged responsibility for her actions and she threw her crew members under the bus.

“While under voluntary quarantine guidelines, which called for our team to avoid public contact for 21 days, members of our group violated those guidelines and understand that our quarantine is now mandatory until 21 days have passed,” Dr. Snyderman’s apology read.

Some community members are fuming over her carelessness about this matter.
