Maine’s Governor Paul LePage said he will ‘exercise the full extent of his authority’ to rein Kaci Hickox in after she broke the regulations of the 21-day quarantine. The 33-year-old nurse left her home in Fort Kent, Maine with partner Ted Wilbur to go on an hour-long bike ride, saying: ‘There is nothing to stop me from going for a bike ride in my home town.’ Later on in the day, the pair ordered pizza and smiled to the waiting media as their pie was handed over. An enraged LePage sent lawyers to court demanding that she be given a blood test while he insisted: ‘I don’t want her within three feet of anyone.’
