Liberia, the country hardest hit by the rampaging Ebola virus, is getting more help to combat the epidemic. The U.S. military has at least 175 troops on the ground in Liberia with several thousand more headed to West Africa to build treatment centers and train local medics. Nearly half of the personnel will be based in Liberia. In Monrovia, U.S. Major-General Darryl Williams explained how the operation will work as VOA’s Linord Moudou reports.
