Due to the Ebola outbreak in Liberia, basic health services such as immunization have dropped by as much as 50 per cent this year. Dedicated vaccinators like Cheche Richardson are working tirelessly and in difficult conditions to help ensure that preventable diseases like measles, polio and pneumonia do not claim children’s lives. “I love my job,” she says. “I take it seriously because I know I’m there for somebody, and I have to do what I have to do.”
