With the global population expected to grow to 9 billion by 2050, how will we feed the world’s inhabitants?

Australia is in a region growing increasingly food-insecure.

And experts say a global food crisis could be the next major security crisis.

That is sad, since we have the power to change it. Also, we will hit 9 Billion much faster than expected. A study done in 2012 with 5 Billion population est, w would hit 9 Billion by 2050. However we are already at 7.1 Billion, so the time frame is much shorter than anticipated.
