Ebola virus has emerged as a potential worldwide viral epidemic with specific transmission characteristics that have complicated its evaluation and care.

Dr. David Kirschke, MD, Medical Director of the Northeast Tennessee Regional Health Department and adjunct faculty in the East Tennessee State University School of Public Health, will provide an overview of Ebola virus disease and discuss the CDC Ebola evaluation algorithm. He will discuss the evaluation and management of a febrile traveler presenting to the emergency department. Finally, he will review the major recommendations from the CDC on hospital Ebola preparedness.

QUESTION TO DR. DAVID KINSCHKE.MD

YOUTUBE   Virus Disease  Preparedness For Health Care Workers 10-6-14

WHY WOULD CDC ADVISE FLUSHING EBOLA VIRUS WASTE INTO TOILET  PIPES WITHOUD FIRST DECONTAMINATING IT WITH BLEACH  FIRST.     ALL POO POO, URINE, SPUTUM, BLOOD, ANY BODY FLUID SHOULD BE BLEACHED OUT BEFORE IT IS DESPELLED IN TO SEWER SYSTEMS.

ONE DROP OF BLOOD CONTAIN MILLIONS OF THE VIRULENT DEADLY EBOLA  VIRUS. EVEN PEOPLE IN QUARANTINE WITHOUT AS OFFICIAL DIAGNOSIS OF EBOLA SHOULD FOLLOW THIS PROTOCOL.

WHAT IF THE SEWER PLUMMING BREAKDOWN, THEN YOU HAVE WORKERS  EXPOSED TO VIRULENT DEADLY VIRUSES  SPREADING ALL OVER THE CITY WHILE REPAIRING THE PLUMMING.  THATS HOW YOU GET EPIDEMICS.  SCIENTISTS DONT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THE EBOLA VIRUS TO TAKE THE CHANCE.

ONE DROP OF EBOLA BLOOD CONTAINS MILLIONS OF VIRULENT DEADLY VIRUSES.  I SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT THE EXPONENTIAL INCREASE IN EBOLA INFECTION IN LIBERIA IS BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE IN LIBERIA WEAR FLIP FLOPS,SANDAL DURING RAINY SEASON.

THE SKIN ON FEET IS THE MODE OF ENTRY DURING THE RAINY SEASON PROBABLY FROM SPLASHING IN MUDDY CONTAINATED STREET WATER.   MINISTRY OF HEALTH SHOULD REQUEST RUBBER BOOTS FOR PEOPLE TO ELIMINATE THIS RISK FACTOR.  IF EBOLAVIRUS SURVIVE IN RAINY WATER, IT WILL SURVIVE IN THE SEWER SYSTEM WHERE PLUMING IS CONSTANTLY BREAKING DOWN.
