Former colonial power France is still quite influential in West Africa — so what are French aid’s latest plans to respond to the Ebola outbreak in the region?

In this video interview on the sidelines of the Converges World Forum in Paris, Devex’s Alexandre Cabaret asks French Minister of State for Development and Francophonie Annick Girardin, who was then about to travel to Guinea — one of French aid agency AFD’s 16 priority countries — to find ways to fast-track efforts to aid the fight against the epidemic.
